These yellow base GM Instrument Cluster light bulb replacements are TAE (Tanin Auto Electronix) designed and suitable for nearly all GM & Chevy instrument cluster in 2003-2006 SUVs & Trucks. They will also work in all 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, and Rainier, Rendezvous SUV’s.
This GM Instrument Cluster light bulb replacement has square, yellow plastic bases for ease of installation and are similar in size to the original blue, square-base bulbs found in these gauge clusters from the factory. To replace your original, burnt-out bulbs, you will need to disassemble your instrument cluster. For most GM gauge clusters, our needle removal tool will help prevent damage to the gauge face and broken needles. When buying OEM bulbs, add this tool to your cart with the option above. Once the cluster is disassembled, you will need to use a soldering iron to apply heat in order to remove the original bulbs. We recommend adding some thin solder to one of the pads and desoldering the remaining pad so it is flat. Re-heat the pad with solder, place one side of this bulb into the solder and allow the solder to cool. One side should be firmly secured to the circuit board and then you can solder the remaining side down.
