Tanin Auto Electronix will rebuild your 2007 (new body style) and 2008-2014 GM truck & SUV gauge cluster. Many times a GMC or Chevy instrument cluster display screen will fade, dim, or shut off completely. These gauge clusters typically didn’t have individual gauge problems like the earlier 2003-2006 X27.168 stepper motors. These clusters used a completely different stepper motor design and these units were more similar to Japanese made gauge clusters found in Toyota vehicles.

If you are looking for some customization, we can change the OEM blue-green backlighting to a color of your choice. Common colors are white, blue, green, or red, but we can also do UV purple, pink, orange, or yellow.  We also have new BLUE pointer needles and various aftermarket gauge overlays that can improve the look of your cluster.

If you are trying to upgrade from four gauges to six gauges this is possible with a replacement cluster. We need your VIN and current part number to determine the best course of action.  If you have error messages related to trailer brake controller or other warnings this could mean that someone installed a different part number cluster or did not get the gauge cluster programmed

If your cluster is “completely dead” – no backlighting, no gauge movement, no display, etc; your cluster is not repairable and needs to be replaced, which we offer with this listing.

In certain cases, we cannot repair these instrument clusters. If you have no power to the cluster or gauges that bounce or shut off, then that is a more serious problem we cannot repair. If this applies to you, then we can help you locate a replacement gauge cluster and program your VIN and mileage into it. If you already purchased a replacement cluster somewhere else, then we can still perform an odometer correction and program your truck’s VIN into the replacement instrument cluster.
