This is a brand new Tanin Electronix instrument cluster LCD screen set for 2003 – 2008 Mercedes SL350, SL500, SL600, SL55 and SL65 AMG – R230.  Please select the correct year of your vehicle because the LCD’s are different based on model year cluster installed in your vehicle.

If you have a 2003-2004 vehicle, but replaced the instrument cluster or installed a new or remanufactured instrument cluster then you likely have the 2005-2008 version and would need to purchase the 2005-2008 screens. The LCD’s are manufactured and optimized for the cluster year range, not the vehicle.  The clusters were redesigned and very different internally starting in the 2005 model year.  The revised 2005+ clusters have a QR code sticker in the left cut out on the back of the cluster. Also the pad color and layout on the right cut out is different from the 03-04 cluster. Check our photos to see the difference.

Common issues are the speedometer LCD glass displays will deteriorate, becoming difficult to read and cosmetically blemished. Don’t buy a used replacement instrument cluster that will need programmed by a dealer when you cluster can easily be repaired at home for a fraction of the cost.
