This item is one brand new Tanin Electronix anti-glare screen protector that fits 2002-2010 Lexus SC430 climate controls. Separate from the LCD screen itself, we had customers asking if we could get rid of the blotchy, foggy, scratched, and worn areas on the actual plastic screen covering the display. We found that the only solution was to pay for a $300+ replacement faceplate. We then designed and manufactured this plastic lens as a cost-effective and simple solution to offer our customers.
Installation can be done without even removing your climate control from the vehicle. The old plastic can be lifted off easily (see video below) and our Tanin Electronix replacement can be swapped right into place. No additional adhesive will be necessary as our Tanin Electronix screen already has adhesive and will stick on your climate control face.

Hardest thing is to safely remove the old screen without damaging the LCD panel behind it.
I tried a guitar pick, but no luck, so I c a r e f u l l y drilled a 3/32nd’s hole in the upper right corner. it cracked a small piece of the screen and that gave me the break i needed to remove the bad one with a dental tool. new one is awesome! thanks for selling these

Tanin is a great source for custom replacement parts for vintage autos. The quality is great and they are able to reproduce the OEM part seamlessly.

Straightforward and easy to install. Challenge is on how to lift the old one, I used a sharp pointed tweezers to yank out the old cover. Install is easy, lay it down and it sticks.
