This is one good, used Nakamichi LCD assembly for all Build Date 1992 – 12/1993 Lexus SC300 and SC400 radio (Not Pioneer) factory head units. You can find the build date of your vehicle inside the driver’s door jamb. The display will work properly just as shown without any black LCD bleeding. The 1992-1993 radios had a greenish or faded blue tint while the later models had orange lighting.

These Lexus SC300 and SC400 Nakamichi LCD radio screens are not available new and they never have been. We do not sell complete radios because we are not set up to fully test all the functions. This way you can keep your good working radio with a nice clean face plate, buttons, and knobs and simply install this new-to-you LCD assembly into it.

The installation is straightforward. The front face is held on by two screws, then you need to remove the top metal grill cover on the radio. Once done, you will see one ribbon connector attaching the front face plate to the main radio assembly. The radio will separate into two pieces at this point. There are 9 phillips screws holding the front face circuit board to the front face. Remove these and then desolder the LCD assembly from the circuit board.
