About Jason – Founder of Tanin Auto Electronix. Jason is the owner and founder of Tanin Auto Electronix, a company he started in 2010 from his bedroom while balancing a full-time job and part-time college classes. Nights were spent deep in research and development, handling repairs, answering customers, and packing orders—followed by a quick nap before heading back to work. After nearly a year of grinding, Jason took the leap of faith to pursue Tanin Auto Electronix full time. Jason’s passion for automotive repair and electronics goes back decades. He began working on cars in 1995, and his circuit board experience reaches as far back as the early 1980s. As a kid, he would sit alongside his dad, desoldering components from amplifiers and keyboards—planting the seed for the technical expertise he uses today. When he founded the company, Jason’s goal was simple but ambitious: deliver the highest quality speedometer rebuild services and components at competitive prices, with unmatched customer service. He also set out to grow the business organically—building a reputation first through eBay, later expanding to a dedicated website and Amazon store. With an engineering mindset and a microscope always at hand, Jason has spent years working with manufacturers to re-create long-obsolete automotive components—such as LCD screens and electronic parts that original carmakers never replaced. These exclusive solutions are now sold under the Tanin Electronix brand. Beyond the lab, Jason travels the country sourcing rare automotive electrical parts to rebuild, restore, and bring back to life—keeping the cycle of innovation and restoration going strong. When starting the company Jason's goal was to provide the highest quality speedometer rebuild services and parts at competitive prices with unparalleled customer service. He also wanted to organically grow the business without advertising. He started offering repair services and parts on Ebay which ultimately led to a website and Amazon store several years later. Jason has an engineering mindset so his passion lies underneath the microscope. He worked with manufacturers over the years to re-create long obsolete components such as LCD screens and other electrical parts never offered or remedied by the original car manufacturers. Jason created the Tanin Electronix brand to market all of his exclusive components. Jason also travels the country and buys rare automotive electrical parts to rebuild and restore and thus the cycle begins again.
